Broccoli sautéed with soy & rice

INGREDIENTS FOR 4 PERSONS

  • 2 cups of rice
  • 4 cups of water
  • 250 g broccoli
  • 1/2 onion
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 15 ml of soy sauce
  • 15 ml of sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon of sesame seeds
  • 1 tablespoon of grated ginger
  • Salt
  • Olive oil

DIRECTIONS

First, rinse the rice. Pour the four cups of water into a pot and add a little salt. As soon as the water starts to boil, add the rice and slightly lower the heat. Cover. The rice must cook for about 25 minutes.

While the rice is cooking, chop the onion and clove of garlic as small as possible. Wash and chop the broccoli.

Add a dash of olive oil to a frying pan or preferably a wok. When the oil is hot, add the sesame seeds and broccoli. Sauté for one minute.

Add the onion, garlic, ginger and soy sauce. If the rice is cooked, add it together with the sesame oil. Mix well and leave to brown a little. Take care not to overcook the rice.

Serve this delicious dish of broccoli sautéed with soy and rice immediately to enjoy it at its best.
